Who Iva is and what she came with
Iva Luburić turned her love of tailoring and sewing into work she loves. Under the name šIva Design she makes made-to-measure dresses, bows and accessories, a baby range and textile decorations. Everything is made in her studio in Herzegovina, from the first idea to the last stitch.
By the time we talked about a website, she had a steady base of clients, a good Instagram page and several years of experience. She saw for herself the potential of a website with SEO and AIO optimisation. That is rarer than you might think: most people ask for a website because that's what you do, not because they know what they want from it.
Why SEO alone isn't enough any more
Google is increasingly becoming the search engine for things that need no explanation or research. When people need advice or a recommendation, they more and more often ask AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others. Google itself has pushed Gemini into search, through summaries that answer you before you open a single result.
So for Iva we went for a hybrid. SEO is optimising a website's visibility in search engines. AIO is optimising its visibility in AI tools. Today, one without the other leaves half the audience on the table.
The goal is very specific. When someone in Herzegovina asks ChatGPT "where can I find a good dressmaker, I need a prom dress", šIva Design should be among the answers. For that to happen, the website has to be written so a machine can read it, understand it and confidently pass it on.
Design that leads to an enquiry
Optimisation is one thing, but Iva also got a carefully designed website.
Most of Iva's visitors come from Instagram, which means almost all of them open the site on a phone. So the mobile version wasn't an adjustment at the end of the job, it was the starting point.
The green button in the bottom right corner
On a phone, in the bottom right corner of the screen, there is a green button.
It isn't green by chance. The rest of the site is in earthy tones, so the contrast is strong and the eye finds it straight away. It isn't where it is by chance either: that is the spot closest to the right thumb, the easiest to tap with one hand.
In web design, what matters most to the site owner has to be clearest to the user. Iva wants enquiries, so the enquiry button is the most noticeable thing on the screen. One tap opens a WhatsApp chat with Iva's number.
A form for those who don't want WhatsApp
WhatsApp isn't everyone's first choice. So we also built a form on the site, so a potential client can send an enquiry without leaving the page.
Iva then gets an email and chooses how to reply, by email or by message. Two ways into the same conversation, without anyone having to look for contact details.
A blog that works for visibility
Through our system Iva can publish articles quickly and easily. Those articles aren't decoration. They are what gives search engines and AI tools a reason to treat the site as a source rather than an advert, and that's why they are a key part of this project.
What Iva has now
A website that works on every device, two clear paths to an enquiry and a place that grows with every new article. And, more importantly, a presence people can find even when they aren't searching for her by name.
Iva makes a lot of interesting and creative things in her šIva Design studio, so we invite you to visit siva-design.com and see if there's something you would order. From this article you already know how.
We thank Iva for her trust and openness to our work, and we look forward to working together again.
